"I’m interested in various expressions of femininity, and my primary intention is to emphasise the physicality of the body. As for the aesthetic DNA of my brand, I’d say it lies somewhere between our current extremely-online age and the Middle Ages. "I’m naturally drawn to red carpet looks and things that are subject to hype today, but I’m just as obsessed with historical corsets that shape the body in a flattering, non-constrictive way," Clara Colette Miramon told me some time ago, during a visit to her studio in Berlin Neukölln.
She founded her eponymous label in Berlin in 2021. Inspired by childhood memories and coming-of-age stories, her work blends traditional techniques and historical silhouettes with contemporary pop culture. Specialising in corsetry, she often reimagines the form using unconventional materials like denim.
The reel captures her SS24 presentation during Fashion Week.
