Club Heart Broken - Big Emotions on the Dancefloor

“Right after a heartbreak, you feel really low—but then come those days when nothing matters anymore and you just want to go out and dance. That’s what Club Heart Broken is all about,” the collective tells us, describing the vision behind their parties.

For i-D I met the musicians during their soundcheck on Sunday morning at Watergate - two hours before the official start of the party - Shauna Summers photographed them in the calm before the chaos.

One of the secrets behind Club Heart Broken’s success? At the core, it's built on long-standing friendships. And that shared history is exactly what gives the label its unique energy. Later that day, they’ll be playing trance, electro house, and ’90s Eurodance. Or to put it another way: pure joy and euphoria. “We want to play music that’s a little silly, sexy, and nasty. Like a flirt on the dancefloor. Our party is for lovers and for loners. Everybody should come and just have fun.“
